Good morning my friends!
Happy Friday!!! I can't believe it's already Friday and in a couple days November will be here!! I have been so busy with work that I didn't have time to post anything this week! Also haven't really been by to visit either, such a poor excuse, but it is what it is. I am so thankful you all haven't written me off, and have come by to leave me some pretty wonderful comments. Thank you!! :)
Now here's my share for today. I made this card for my older brother. It's featuring the same adorable Nobu from Sister Stamps. Sorry it's a repeat stamp, but cute none-the-less. This time I changed up the colors and layout, but used a similar patterned origami paper from last week's Nobu card. I was so excited to give it to my brother that I forgot to take a picture of it! Yep, luckily he was sweet enough to take one and send it to me. Everytime I see this card I smile. I love how it turned out! Here we go...
I love the pop of red on the white and the warmth from the distressed parts and the browns. The sentiment is the same one from the retired set by The Greeting Farm. The circles and squares were cut with Spellbinders and Nobu is colored in with Copics. I wish that pattern on the origami paper was in more than the two colors in the stack I have. It really goes so well with this image.
I've had a few of you ask where I purchased my Sister stamps? If you head over to the Sister Stamps blog they have a list of vendors that you can choose from. :)
Alrighty, that's all I have for today. If you would like to add your link for fun, please use the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post with a direct link to your card. No it doesn't have to be a Friday card, just any card you want to share for fun. I have been trying to post cards I haven't used for challenges, but please feel free to link up any project you want from any day this week. :)
Mahalo for stopping by and for your continued support. Have a wonderful weekend everyone and if you're still around and haven't written me off, I have a wonderful surprise to share with you tomorrow. hehehe, it's sure to create a bang! hehehe!
