Mystery Monday with Kim Dellow!

Yes you are!!!  ; )

Hello Friends!

Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.  Before we get to the challenge details, I wanted to say Mahalo for leaving such wonderful and inspirational comments.  I try my best to get to everyone's blog and leave a little love but sometimes time just slips by.  I know how much time it takes to go in and comment and I truly appreciate all that I receive, so if I haven't said it lately, MAHALO or THANK YOU my dear friends for each and every word that you have left for me.

Today's case was chosen by our DT captain, Rachel, and the funny thing is that I had this card as one of my choices.  I just loved the fun layout, but also the bold colors, and of course the awesome colored image.  Without further adieu we are casing... Kim Dellow!!

Did Rachel pick a winner or what?  Like I said the bold colors and the fun layout were what originally drew me to it.  I'm so glad that Rachel chose this one.  To see what the rest of the DT created click HERE.

As with all case'ings, I try to stay as true to the design as possible.  Most of the time I want to just case the card exactly, but sometimes I want to add or change it up a bit.  I believe that change is sometimes fun as long as you keep the original design in mind.  For my card I went as true to the card as much as possible, but I added a little to it here and there.  Here is what I came up with:

For my image I chose the ever popular sitting Anya from the Hats off collection.  I hadn't used her in quite sometime and I knew she would be perfect on this card.  Instead of the cool circular flowers Kim used, I chose to go with some MS punched butterflies and added some pearls for some fun elegance.  The other addition is the sentiment in the center.  I thought it needed something to add to the space and that sentiment was the perfect size.  Here are some close ups of the card including Anya herself...

Are you all ready to play along?  Fabulous!   As you know the TGF Galleria is having some hiccups right now, so if you would like to play please visit the Farm Fresh Challenge blog for more details on how to link  your card.  Hopefully the techs will have worked out all the kinks and get the site back up and running soon.  We definitely want you all to play.  So if you also want to leave a comment here with the link to your card please do so.  : )
Here is a reminder of the rules:

  • Use ANY TGF image
  • You can either case the card or use it as an inspiration
  • Until further notice, please leave a comment on the Mystery Monday... Kim Dellow post with a link to your card, not your whole blog.  This will make it easier for us to view your card and comment.
  • Gallery is up and running!  Please upload your project to Galleria>Farm Fresh Challenge 2011> Mystery Monday> Kim Dellow.
  • Winner will be randomly chosen to win a free single TGF image.
  • HAVE FUN!!
Mahalo for stopping by.  Have a wonderful Monday!!
