Hey everyone!
Today I get to share the card I made using the adorable Surfing Oliver from this week's challenge sponsor, Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps! Woo Hoo! I'm pretty excited because Sparkle and I were on the TGF Farm Fresh team together and I've actually gotten to meet her a few times. She's sweet and kind and has a great laugh you just can't help but smile when she's around. I was so happy to see her at Winter CHA this year and so happy that she was sharing her adorable images in her booth. Here's a bit more on our Sponsor:
This scene was actually printed on kraft cardstock and colored with Copics & Distress ink (Tumbled glass). I did that on purpose because MIC is also having a color on kraft challenge that I wanted to enter. (You can consider this a two birds with one stone card). I hadn't attempted to color on kraft before, but I do like the results. Oliver on the other hand was stamped on to white Xpress-It cardstock and colored with Copics. I fussy cut him out and popped him in to the scene. The Distress ink was used to create the clouds and I also used a white pencil to give the clouds some highlights. I had a lot of fun coloring on kraft and I think Oliver loves his new hideaway spot. :)
Please make sure to pop on over to the LC blog to see what the rest of the A-team created using Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps. Don't forget to join our "Splash" challenge, all the details are on the LC blog. Wanted to say a big Mahalo to Sparkle for sponsoring us this week!! And Mahalo to you for stopping by today! Have a terrific Wednesday!!

Sparkle and her husband, Brent, opened their own stamp company, Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, in July 2010. They sell cute and whimsical rubber stamps of darling little boy and girl images. Here are the links to the stamp company: http://www.sparklecreationsrubberstamps.com/. If you are interested in joining one of their challenges they do have a challenge blog where you can upload all your creations using SCRS images.I'm using Surfer Oliver for this week's Sponsor Spotlight card. I used this week's "Splash" theme going on at the LC blog. I'm also using a fabulous background scene from Make It Crafty, because it was a pretty awesome fit for Oliver. The scene is called, Island Hideaway, and you could say this is Oliver's private get-a-way. Hope you like it...
