Create Ur Possibility

Happy Monday peeps! Today I wanted to share a card I made with some scraps, a cute colored up Oliver from The Greeting Farm and a message. Oliver just happened to be hangin' around my computer, (literally).. hahaha.. The only reason I made this card was because it was my friend's last day at work. He had stopped by in the morning to give me a present. It was an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of blue paper from a project we had worked on. He said he wanted to give it back to me because he had no use for it. I told him I had a whole ream of it and that he should keep it. He said he didn't need it and proceeded to toss it into my trash bin! I grabbed it out real quik telling him, that paper is expensive! hahaha.. He thought I was crazy, but hey, colored paper is expensive right? So what did I do? I decided to make him a card with that very same paper to show him that u create ur own possibilities, you just had to be creative. I made this at work, but I'm lucky enough to have a limited supply of stamps and inks here. I also have tons of scrap paper.
Him being a guy I wanted to keep it simple, but I wanted to use the full sheet of paper cause remember I had a point to make (therefore another easel card was born). I tore the edges of some kraft & dark brown cs, then inked the edges with some brown ink. Also stamped a bunch of Ks (no, his name doesn't start with a K, but he has a klothing kompany that does). I hand wrote the two sentiments on the front of the card as well as the one on the inside of the card. Can you tell what I did with the orange paper? Yup, I cut them in to 2 Ks and placed them back to back. Why? Because that's how the name of his brand is written. Yes I know, too much thinking leads Lilo to do crazy things.. hahaha.. But it's all good. The sentiment inside reads, "create ur possibility" I wanted to let him know that anything is possible, it's what you make of it that counts. We laughed about the paper issue, but most importantly he was very touched by my words and that's all that counts. :)
Ok, Mahalo for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful evening!!
Hugs,
Leanne
