Sassenach Anya

Hello! Hope your Sunday is going well as well as your weekend. I'm having a great weekend. My younger sis is here with her bf and my older bro is here as well. They came down to celebrate my birthday, which isn't until Wednesday. It's been some time since we were all together so spending time with them is always nice.
I did have time to make a card for a couple of challenges. Also, I have a friend's birthday coming up so this card might be used.
I've been having fun with the digi's from TGF. I'm using the pretty Sassenach Anya today. I thought she would look lovely in turquoise, black, white and sparkles.
I used Mercy's sketch from the TGF FFF sketch challenge. Followed Amy's awesome curly hair tutorial on the Color Me Copic website (be sure to check it out, Amy has some mad skills with a Copic marker). Used ribbons, bottons, flowers and some really great dp paper from MME to finish off the card.
Here are the challenges I want to use this card for:

  • TGF - Farm Fresh Friday Mercy's sketch challenge 8/27
  • Karber's - Challenge #2 Birthday
  • CMC - Challenge #3 Amy's curly hair tutorial
  • I just missed submitting this to the Lollipop Crafts - Challenge #4 ribbons and buttons. Well you snooze you lose, right? No worries, hahaha.
Well I have one more card to make. It's a pre-thank you card for my friends who are taking me out for my pre-birthday tonight. We're going to Long Beach to meet up with one of their friends, Sean, he sings with the Hawaiian group Na Palapalai. It should be good fun, he's always cracking jokes and telling us good stories. Mahalo for stopping by, hoping you enjoy the rest of this beautiful Sunday...

Update: I wasn't a winner but the ladies showcased my card on their blog. How wonderful is that? Super stoked and totally honored. YAY!
