Happy Father's Day! Hope you're having a good one and that the dads in your life are taking it easy. We are planning to take my dad out for an early dinner since my sister has to go back home to Northern Cali and we don't want her to get home too late.
A couple of weeks ago we were having a craft session at work and my co-worker Elise was in charge of the projects. She had us make a Father's Day themed card. I chose the fisherman themed card because it reminded me of when we were little and how we used to go fishing a lot. We haven't gone in some time and maybe in the future we might plan a trip.
Using the Fisherman Ian from the TGF Rock the Farm set here he is in the spotlight:
I loved coloring him in this old vintage style coloring of the blues and greens and browns. I added some buttons to his suspenders for added dimension. Coloring the fish was a lot of fun, not sure what kind of fish they are, he's just lucky he caught something to show for his efforts. lol.. Adding a couple more buttons, some raffia and a simple "Dad" sentiment rounds out the card: I plan to submit this card in the TGF FFF challenge button up since the challenge includes incorporating at least 3 buttons. I think my card qualifies. Mahalo again for stopping by today. Continue to have a fabulous Sunday and enjoy your week!
