Y&FH: CH #21 - Anything Goes

Hey everyone!

We're excited to start our new challenge format with our new team.  I'm jumping in with Team Yumi to share the details and my project for the current bi-weekly challenge that starts today.  For more awesome inspirations and projects from Team Yumi, please stop by the Y&FH blog.  The bi-weekly challenge is...
Something everyone can play in right?  Yes!!  So all you have to do is create something with any image and link up with us.  Yep you read correctly any image.  If you haven't heard, we've also changed some of our rules, so please be sure to read the Challenge info to be up to date.  You don't want to miss out on anything.

Summer Fumi 3-drawer easel box
For my share today I have a 3-drawer easel box that I made a while back.  To see how to make this easel box check out my tutorial on the Y&FH blog HERE.  To get the three boxes just follow the directions for the smaller box and make 3.  I have to confess, when I was making that tutorial I was making a bunch of these until I finally finished the one that ended up on the blog.  I created the drawer bases and I left it alone.  I actually had something else in mind for this one, but when you're under pressure you go with instinct (aka desperation) and voila!  I actually think it turned out fairly cute.  There's A LOT going on with the paper here so I thought let's try to keep the rest of it super simple.  I already had Summer Fumi colored, (love her as a blonde!) and the colors I used were just a wonderful coincidence. (happy happy)  I think she's my favorite so far, but shhhh... don't tell the others... (hahaha)  I added that Recollections banner pulling in the pinks from the paper.  Added the sheer turquoise ribbon which has a really pretty but subtle sparkle to it and the sentiment stamped and punched out with an EK punch.
Summer Fumi
Okie dokes, that's all for me.  I hope you enjoyed my share, don't forget to stop by the blog today and leave some love for Team Yumi.  They worked really hard on their projects and it's their debut posts as part of the ohana.  Then get to creating and link up your projects, we're excited to see what you create.  Have a blessed weekend!! Mahalo for stopping by!
Hugs,
Leanne

I haven't tried one of these drawer easels yet...you make them look too easy and I know it just can't be!

Fumi as a blonde?! I've heard blondes have more fun! Lol!

I think the argyle pattern works extremely well with the banners. It's a fresh look and perfect for the project. Thanks for giving us another look at your crafty talent.
