Happy Aloha Friday everyone!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you've had a good week and are ready to do some relaxing this weekend. :)
For today's LFF #22, I thought I'd share one of the cards I made for our booth from the February stamp convention featuring one of the most popular images requested from Sister Stamps, Ayako.
In January, my buddy Kathy made me this wonderful picture frame featuring 3 Sister Stamps images, Miyono, Ayako & Yoko. I wanted to create something similar in a card with the Ayako frame but on to a card. So out came my neglected Cricut machine and my rarely used Pagoda cartridge. I purchased some beautiful washi paper from Hanko Designs the previous stamp convention and decided it would be the perfect backdrop for this card. I used red cs for the bridge and matted it onto the same red cs, then on to white cs and the base of the card was dark brown cs.
I really love how she turned out and I want to thank Kathy again for the wonderful inspiration and beautiful frame she made me. I want to eventually case the other two panels, but for today, Ayako get's the spotlight.
I know I haven't posted pictures from the convention or talked about it so look for it in the coming week. Hope you all have a wonderful Aloha Friday and you get to do something fun or relaxing this weekend. Mahalo for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Lilo
Sorry friends, I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the Copics I used. If I remember, which I doubt, I'll try to add them here. Sorry!!
