Time to Celebrate... YOU!

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I wanted to share a card that I made for my friend's 40th birthday.  When Amy Young, artist of the Sweet November stamp line, showcased her new Zodiac girls I knew I would have to grab Virgo not only because she is my sign, but she looked Polynesian with that gorgeous flower, straight hair and beautiful eyes.  I have had her for quite some time and this weekend I had a reason to ink her up.  My friend Janelle's birthday party.
To start, I wiped away the outlines and her necklace because I just wanted to create one of those "big head" cards.  I used soft spring like colors and contrasted with some chocolate brown cs.

Here is a close up of Virgo with her light blue green and peach 6-petal flower:

Below is the finished card.  Does this sketch look familiar?  Well it should, I have used this one previously.  For details click here or here.  {Yikes, sorry it's so blurry, only got the one shot of it, grrrr!!}

I know I will definitely play with Virgo more often.   I think she looks just like my younger sister, so she will be inked up again for a very special celebration, my sister's graduation. :)

Mahalo for stopping by, hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Hugs,
Lilo
