FFF- Distressing

Happy Friday peeps!!  Hope you've had a good week.  It's been so much fun looking thru the TGF Galleria @ all of your cards and projects.  I have gotten tons of inspiration and plan to use a bit here and there.  So keep those projects coming!!!

Now you know what today is right?  Yep, it's time for another fun Farm Fresh Friday challenge with us at the Farm Fresh Challenge blog.  Today is DISTRESSING, no not the day, the challenge! {haha}  Should you choose to accept the challenge we are looking for distressing techniques on your cards or projects.  Whether it be with distress inks, distressed papers, we'd love to see what distresses you.

For my project I chose to do a quick frame with Cheeky Beach.  I have to confess that this didn't take me too long to do.  The frame was already distressed.  The flowers on the frame are stickers I purchased a few years ago.  I stuck them on some kraft cs and cut them out.  The other stickers, from the same sticker sheet, were adhered directly onto the frame.  I hadn't inked up Miss Cheeky Beach yet, so having her grace this frame was perfect.  The sentiment was perfect for what I was looking for.  Unfortunately I haven't found a picture to stick in here yet, so I have the pretty cs inside.  It matches Miss Cheeky's bathing suit.

Here is a close up of Miss Cheeky Beach, she was so much fun to color!!

Alrighty, now it's your turn.  Play along and you'll be in the running for a free TGF single of your choice.  A reminder on the challenge details:
  • FFF challenges are open until Thurs
  • Entries are due by 12 PM CST.
  • Use ANY TGF stamp
  • Upload your card or project to the [Galleria > Farm Fresh Challenges 2011 > FFF > Distress]
  • Jess or the DT will pick the winners for the challenge and the winner will receive a free single TGF stamp of choice.
Don't forget to stop at the FFC blog to see what my sistas from the design team have created to inspire and amaze you with.

I'm thinking of submitting this one to yesterday's PDCC challenge # 77 @ The Playdate Cafe Challenge blog.  The color I used in my first card {click here} was a different shade of brown, but I loved it anyways.   Well doesn't hurt to try again. Hope they don't mind.  LOL..  Here's a reminder of the color challenge:

Mahalo for stopping by and hope you get a chance to DISTRESS something, have fun!!
Hugs,
