A card for Desiree

Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend was fabulous!
This will be pretty quick:
I made this card on friday at work.. It was for my co-worker who is getting married. We had a surprise bridal shower for her at BJ's after work. I made this into a gift card holder for a Victoria Secret gc I was purchasing.
I used pink and black for my color scheme. I love the finished look.
This is the pre-finished card:

I thought it needed more pop, if you can believe that, soooo... I added polka dots to the black flowers with my white gel pen. Here is the finished look:

It made the difference. This was my first time using the awesome Neenah Tiara white paper, also a first to use a gem flourish and my 3rd time coloring the white prima. I absolutely adore this card. I paper pieced her outfit with this cs paper I had left over. I don't know if you can tell but the paper has a fuzzy texture to it and stamping it with the polka dot outfit made it perfect for my card. Lots of punched out flowers and a really cool dp for the background rounded out this fun card. O and I colored the ribbon with my Copic marker, it used to be white!
Well thanks for stopping by!
Mahalo!
