LFF #85 - Hau'oli la Hanau

TGIF everyone!   Today for Lilo's Fun Friday share #85, I have a CAS birthday card that I made for my dad.  It's his birthday today!

Kaleo from Sister Stamps

He likes the no fuss kinda stuff so keeping this card clean and simple was definitely the way to go.  I picked the adorable Kaleo from the newest Sister Stamps release purchased via Hanko Designs, a laser cut word sentiment & that patterned paper which I purchased from Island Scrapbooking on my last trip to the Big Island.  All were matted to a plain dark chocolate brown card base.

Isn't Kaleo a cutie?  He's my new favorite little boy.  Here he doesn't look so young because of the silver hair, but even so he's still one handsome boy, yea?  Love this stamp!!  Ok I need to "hele on outta here!"  Have a great Aloha Friday (the 13th) and a great weekend!!  Mahalo for stopping by! 

CAS for Dad

Morning!

Today is my dad's birthday and for him I made a CAS card.

The papers are from MME and I die cut the letters using the Little lower case letters from MFT.  I had originally glued them to a white background, but it was not centered correctly so I fussy cut each individual letter with a matte of the white cardstock.  At the bottom I handwrote Dad and added some doodle dots.
