Justin's card

Here's the second card I wanted to share, for my other co-worker. He's a pretty cool guy and he really likes Shakespeare. I searched the internet for a quote and found this one. I'm not sure which poem it's from, but I do remember this quote was in the movie, Coach Carter. All of the other ones were either too morbid for me or I just didn't get them. This one was perfect for my card. I asked my brother to write it for me using his fancy cursive, or gangsta writing as I like to call it, on a piece of white cs. I used a spellbinder to cut it out then I used a couple cool gray Copics to shade in. For the stamped image I used the Greeting Farms Jeremy from the WS-Roll Call kit. I altered his face a little bit by adding a subtle goatee. I also added the cool hat from the TGF OA-Journey stamp set. It gives him a kind of poet look I think. I mounted both images onto a red dry-embossed piece of cs and then mounted that on to black cs which I am using for the card. I distressed the edges of the card, including the quote and the red cs. I hope he likes the card. I tried to choose something that I thought he would enjoy, the quote, and the red card, plus a fun image to go a long with it. I'm not sure if he'll let me take a picture of him, but I'll ask and post later. For now, have a wonderful Monday and Mahalo for stopping by!
