What's Up? Dog day afternoon...

Hello!

Wow, it's been a few days since I last posted!  Life has gotten a bit more busy and I've been less active in the creative realm.  I don't know if it's the weather or the long hours at work, but there seems to be no interest in creating when I get home, it's as if my mojo has gone on vacation.  Sigh!

I realized that I never posted about this project I made for one of my friends.  It's actually a watercolor/die cut scene/portrait...

Obviously some of my mojo was working here.  hahaha!  I started out with the blue backdrop using gelatos and water on some Canson water color paper.  I believe the cute dog flying over the city is Silver from Tiddly Inks Flying High clear stamp set.  My friend has a dog, who resembles Silver a bit so I tried to color him the same.  I used multiple dies from LLLC and MFT to create this scene.  I also used a word backgroud stamp from MFT for the buildings and the tree.  Love the effect, it kinda looks like I used a newspaper.

I need to put this in some kind of frame so for now it's with me until I finish it.  I did show it to my friend and she loved it.  Yay!!  Here's a look at the annual birthday card I made, another adorable image of Silver and I actually decorated the envelope!

The sentiments on the card are from Paper Smooches.  Oh and in the background some wispy clouds made with Distress Inks.  Maybe this will jump start my mojo?!  We shall see!  I might need to go-around to everyone's blogs too, so I'll be sure to hop on the ole' computer when I get home to do some hopping!  Well breaks over, I better get back to "work".  Take care and thanks for stopping by!

May is a busy birthday month for yours truly, I know at least 3 loved ones who celebrated theirs on the 1st alone, including my mama.  Here's another birthday card to add to my "done, but need to mail" list, featuring Bake me some Love Wryn from Tiddly Inks.

It's been so very long since I inked up a Wrynn, and seeing a sale at the TI store was too hard to resist.  hahaha!  I might have printed her out a bit too large for what I had in mind, but I think it worked out well.  I used some new dies: MFT dienamics blueprints 24 & MFT background grid stamp and rounding out the rest of the card are an embossed background, a doily, and the fun speech bubble with sentiment.  The colors are bright and fun and I think the person I have in mind for this card will enjoy it.  Alrighty, a few done but so more to go, better get to it!

Happy belated Birthday Janelle!

Hello!

Hope you're all enjoying the 2nd day of summer!

Today I met up with two of my good friends for a Vegan brunch that was delicious! My friend, Janelle, recommended this place since my friend Michele is trying to eat more Vegan dishes.  I'm willing to try new things and this place was great!  It helped that it was Vietnamese, so the flavors tasted the same, but without the actual meat.  Everything that was placed in front of us reminded me of regular Vietnamese food.  Sorry I don't have any pictures to share, I left my phone in the car. I know, I know that was bad! (hahaha)  Here's the link to the restaurant (Vinh Loi Tofu) and if you're in the area and would like to give it a try I highly recommend it.  They do get crowded so go early.

A month or so ago was Janelle's b-day and this is the first I've seen her since before her b-day.  I made a quick card using my newest Tiddly Inks stamp set, Flying High, that I just got on Friday.

Janelle has a dog named Ace and I thought it would be fun to make a card with the sweet dog that's included in this stamp set.  It almost looks like him. This is one adorable stamp set.  It also included the sentiment, I wrote in the "belated" right below.  Kept the card really simple. After adding in clouds and coloring the images I die cut the image with the pierced tag die from MFT, but kept it as a rectangle, not a tag.  Matted it on to black cardstock then matted that on to an embossed piece of white cardstock. Everything was then glued down on to a white card.  This was a fun and quick card to make.  Definitely need more of those for my stash. :) 

Before I sign off I wanted to send a shout out to Eva of Crafting This and That.  She was super nice to send me one of her awesome graduation cards (the red one).  She knew I was making some cards for a few graduates this year and said she had one that she was probably not going to use and asked if I could use it?  I said yes and it went to a very deserving individual last night. I almost kept it, the card was so darn cute!! I am so appreciative of her generosity. Thank you Eva!! He loved the card, but I think his mom loved it even more. :)

Golf Serenity Prayer

Hello!

Popping in for a quick post.  Tomorrow is my big bro's birthday but we celebrated today because he lives in Lancaster so there's no chance for any of us to get together except over the weekend.  It works out for all of us.  My brother loves to play golf so it was only fitting that this year's card be about his favorite sport, with a little bit of humor thrown in.

This golf bag image was a freebie (on FB) from the very generous Christy of Tiddly Inks.  I printed it on kraft cardstock (along with the sentiment I found on the internet.)  Colored it up with Copics and added some grass. Kept it CAS with a matte of white cardstock and mounted it to a blue card.

What a cool stamp and doubly so because it was a freebie.  Thanks Christy!! =D  Alrighty time to sing Happy Birthday and cut the cake.  Thanks for stopping by for this very short post.  Hope you're Sunday has been as good as mine.  G'nite!

Fairy Fae Birthday Card

Hello,

Back with another card featuring Tiddly Inks Fairy Fae and one of the three frames from the Frame the Moment set.

After I merged both images I printed it off and started coloring, still needs tons of practice.  I need to figure out how to have a light hand when I color or else I won't be able to get those finer strokes down.  "Think light as a feather" (hahaha)  Before I forget, I did fussy cut the frame and cut off the "wiring" which would be used to hang the frame it would have make the card bigger than it already is.  To compensate I matted it to a black scalloped square which incidentally looks right at home.  For a bit of bling I added the four clear crystals. The designer paper is from Prima and I was so happy to see it matched the colors in the image.  The sentiment is computer generated.  I had fun putting this one together with the pretty purples as it's not a color I use very often, but I know there are a lot of people who love it so getting used to it is a must.  :)

This card is going to someone who likes purple and although it's late I hope she likes it.  Thank you again for coming by.  Have a wonderful day!

Morning and Happy St. Paddy's Day!

I have a fun 1 layered card to share featuring a cool freebie from Christy at Tiddly Inks.  If you're not part of the Tiddly Inks FB fan page you're missing out on getting to know a nice group of talented ladies.

I believe her name is Chloe and she's all about shamrocks and fun.  She'll be popping in to the TI store very soon.  As today is St. Patrick's Day I went with a semi-monochromatic theme. 

Isn't she sweet?!  After coloring her up I added some green glass dots with a Viva decor pen.   For the bottom of the card I used scallop border die and added some patterned paper for just a wee bit of fun.  Also used the same Viva decor pen to add little pearls to the scalloped edge.  To top it off I had printed out that sentiment, and as I was going through all my sentiments that one dropped out!  Love when that happens. :)  The patterned paper is from the Emerald stack by DCWV.

Looks like I'll be able to sneak this in to the Green challenge over at the TI challenge blog.  In the meantime, have a great day!

Fairy Fae Catches a Star

Hello,

Oh boy is anyone else out there dragging from the time change?  I feel like I've lost more than an hour and feel like the day is just running away too fast.  Hoping to get used to it as we've got to for the next several months.  Ai-ya!

On Saturday, I joined several other ladies from all over the globe to do a coloring along with the fabulous Alyce of Kit and Clowder.  If you are not a part of the Kit and Clowder following your missing out.  Alyce recently started her own website where you can learn to techniques in Copic coloring or learn some tips and tricks to add to enhance your skills.  She also offers classes on the basic colorings and will give you feedback if you purchase any of the coloring classes.  Click on the Kit and Clowder banner on my side bar to jump to her website and sign up.   You can also find her on Facebook by typing in Kit and Clowder in the search bar.

I have been a fan of Alyce's since I first saw her on the Make It Crafty team.  She has since grown in her coloring skills to become a master Copic colorist, IMHO, and each time I see her finished projects I swoon.  hahaha...  Anyhoos, I hope you'll hop on over to her blog and then her website to check it out.  This was the first time I tried a color-a-long and it was quite fun.  She's really patient and although she really didn't want to reveal too many tips was able to get us all through to the end, with lots of laughs in between.  We worked with the beautiful Fairy Fae Catches a Star from Tiddly Inks.  Here is my end result...

If you have an eagle eye you'll see the big mess up on my coloring even though I tried to hide it.  I've been trying to go back in with the colorless blender to fix it, but it just kept getting messier and started to spread. As with any other mistake I try to hide it, this time with Distress ink.  :)  Not too bad of a job, but you can still see it.  =.=  As soon as I figure out what to do with this one I'll share the finished project.  Oh, I accidentally spilled a drop of water on the lower right corner so I ended up spritzing the rest of the card with water that is why it looks a bit warped and distressed even more than normal.  I actually like it. :)

I learned about highlights, and the "dreaded" pleats, I think I did ok for my first go.  Oh and I learned what stippling is and hope to use that technique in future projects.  Yes, this girl definitely needs lots more practice!  (hahaha) But not too bad.  I wanted to keep practicing so I did another coloring which didn't turn out as nice as the first but I do like how the pleats turned out.  And lo and behold not too many mistakes.  Woot!  I was so happy with how it turned out (well except for the wings, not as defined as the first one) this one went on a card right away.  

I have one more that I wanted to share.  This one is with the same image, but different colors.

I have been enjoying the color combo of blue and green lately.  So I had a bit of fun with her with this tag.  Not too happy with the dress, but I do like how the hair turned out and I did some stippling on the top of the tag.  All in all a fun bit of coloring.  Will definitely keep practicing and sharing.

Better Late than Never!

Hello!

Ever had a card that you created and forgot that you didn't blog about it?  Well I found this card when I was looking through some old pictures and realized that I had never blogged about it.  It's been a while as I remember making this for one of my cousin's stepdaughter's wedding.  Well no time like the present to share it especially when I saw the challenge over at Tiddly Inks.  I haven't had a chance to play in any of their current challenges, but I'm hoping to this time.  Boy am I cutting it close though.  Anyhoos, if I get it in on time or not I think I'd really like to share it.  This is one of my favorite cards using one of my favorite images, You & Me from Tiddly Inks.

Love this beautiful image.  I went with warm colors because if I remember correctly my cousin-in-law was married in the summer.  The papers are K&Company and one of my favorite paper pads.  Always love the dark browns as accents.  The second part I love about this card is the inside...

I very rarely have something on the inside but I did with this card.  One of the prettiest insides I've ever done. {lol}  If I remember correctly I printed the image twice, one for the front and the second one I framed the couple out.  I remember distressing around it and loved how vintage it turned out.  I seriously can't believe I forgot to blog this one. lol..  Better late than never.

Make a Wish

Morning Friends!

Today is my friend's niece's birthday!  We celebrated on New Year's day with a big party with lots of food, family, friends, and fun.  Oh yea, and lots of presents!!  I think she can now officially open her own Hello Kitty store! (hehe) She received a lot of really cute stuff, mostly One Direction and HK goodies.  She is well loved and deservedly so.

This one's for the birthday girl, and I just loved her mom's reaction when she saw my name on the back of the card.  Hehehe, priceless and so cool!  Okie dokes, here it is featuring Wryn Fairy Wishes from Tiddly Inks and my own handwritten sentiment.  Happy Birthday Maile!

 

This card was actually made last year in June (2012).  I hadn't revealed it back then because it just so happens that it was published in the Designed to Color Aug/Sep issue for the Color Watch Tangerine Tango category and we were asked to wait before posting to our blogs.  I'm on page 8 and was doubly excited when I saw I was on the same page as Amy Young, she's so awesome!!  If you click on this link you can see a sneak preview of the Aug/Sep issue, which also includes page 8. :)  Please consider subscribing to Designed to Color's magazine, all the details are on their blog and they now also have a challenge so make sure you check it out.

Season's Greetings

Hey Everyone!!

Thanks to those of you who played in my LFF #44 Latte challenge last week.  I used the word "latte" 10 times in my post.  There were 3 of you who did try to guess so I picked a random winner and it was Kathy!  Thanks again for playing and check back on Friday for another chance for a little something from Lilo. :)
Poppin' in to share a Christmas card where I used Wryn the Royal again.  I saw the newest challenge over at Tiddly Inks and tried my hand at it.  Hope I did Lou's sketch justice...

This is a 4x4 card if you can believe it.  I printed out a couple Wryn the Royal images to this tiny size to use for Madison's gift, but ran out of time to use them.  She was easy to color up pretty quick and I had that paper sitting on my desk, just had to grab the ribbon, twine and gems and put everything together.  I didn't have a small enough sentiment to fit on to the tab that wouldn't be covered by the heart/ribbon so I hand wrote it in.

As you can see I went with a pink and green theme.  Not your typical Christmas colors, but I couldn't resist that small scrap of pink snowflake paper I had from last year.  Doesn't she look fun with pink hair?  Yes, I did add a little bit of sparkle to her dress and crown, after all she is royalty. (hehehe)  She reminds me of an anime character with her pink hair and ball gown.

A Royal Birthday Card

Hey everyone!

Yesterday I went to my friend's daughter's 4th birthday party.  Boy do they know how to throw a party!!  They always have, it's just their thing.  With lots of kids, a big gigantic castle jumper in the back yard and lots of crafts for everyone, yes even the boys were getting crafty making shields, everyone had a great time.  Madison's birthday theme was Princess and Knights and of course she was her Royal Highness.  When I was thinking about her card I wanted to keep it in the same theme.  I knew the perfect images to use and they were both from Tiddly Inks. 

I used Wryn the Royal which includes the cute sentiment, and Castle in the Clouds which is one of a set of two.  When I pictured how I would put this together I saw the castle in a frame behind her with lots of pink, glitter and hints of lavendar.  The flowers on the bottom are chipboard pieces from the Disney Princess pack I bought a while back from Joann's, they were perfect for some fun accents.

I had a lot of fun with this card and can see myself using this little cutie pie and the castle again and again.  If Christy decides to make her in to rubber I'm gonna grab her up.  (hehe)  Have a great day and Mahalo for stopping by!

A Bewitching Halloween card

Morning!!

Popping in for a quick share.  I finished another Tiddly Inks Halloween card this time using the gorgeous Bewitching clear stamp.  This stamp set was a real treat for me as I received it as a freebie from the most talented Christy along with my other clear stamps order.  Not only is she super talented but super generous!!  Thanks so much Christy!! :)

I had a lot of fun with this one.  For someone who doesn't do many Halloween cards I'm sure having fun making them.  lol!  Here's my second card with a touch of red and a bit of sparkle.

I used several pieces of dp from an older K&Company Halloween paper pad and matted it all with black cardstock.  Used the deckled rectangle Spellbinders and a MS spider web border punch.  Decided to give the edges and the inside image some color with Distress ink in black soot.  The spiders and sentiment come with this gorgeous image.  Added the crow on top to mimic the crow she's holding.  To counter balance I added the two red flowers.

She's colored with Copic markers and just for fun I gave her a bright red outfit instead of a black or purple one.  It was fun to do something different.  Well that's all I have today.  Hope you are all having a great week!  Mahalo for stopping by!!

LFF #42 - WITCHy Wryn

Happy Aloha Friday everyone!!

It's been a while since I last had a Lilo's Fun Friday post and today I actually have something fun to share. (Make sure to read to the end)  Now I'm not too much of a Halloween cardmaker, but I have loved seeing all the cute images and creations that have been scattered all around blogland and became inspired!  So for LFF #42 I made a Halloween card!  I picked up the new Witchy Wryn from Tiddly Inks and I have to say this little witch is super cute!!  Definitely Too Cute to Spook!

This is probably one of the only times I will color green skin.  (hahaha)  I did a simple design with a couple of layers of cardstock (black & orange) and a piece of leftover Halloween dp.  I distressed all the edges with the side of my scissors then added some black soot ink to give it a grunge look.  On top of all that is some cheesecloth witch looks like spiderwebs to me.  Not sure if you can tell but those are spiders along the side of the card and scattered here and there courtesy of my C.C. Cutters Spider border die from ATS.  The bats are actually part of that die and I didn't want to waste them so decided to scatter them around the card. 

The sentiment, "Too cute to Spook" comes with Witchy Wryn and is perfect for this cutie pie. I printed it out on white cardstock and used two Spellbinders to cut and frame it out.  Distressed the inside with some green and edged with black Distress ink.  Also distress inked the orange frame with the same black ink.  I layered some cheesecloth over the top and added two of the spiders, then popped the last "bat" and in the corner.  If you look closely you'll see some green sparkle on the legs of the spiders, I used Stickles.

Lastly is Witchy Wryn and her two friends.  Not sure you can see but there is a friend hiding in her hat.  I went a bit too close to coloring the frog so after coloring her up with a brighter green I used the Stickles to make her pop.  Now she looks like a pretty jewel instead of the pet she was supposed to be. (eek!)  Witchy Wryn is colored with Copics and I tried my best to work on some folds.  I definitely need LOTS more practice but am pretty excited to have been able to finally color one of the Wryns and place her on a card.  I have definitely missed her and Christy keeps coming out with new ones, I can't keep up!  (hahaha)  I believe I saw a Halloween themed challenge at Tiddly Inks so I'm going to join the challenge.  It's been too long there too.

Lollipop Crafts Summer Challenge #1 - Uh Oh!

Hey everyone!
Hope you had a great weekend!  This week over at Lollipop Crafts we have a different challenge for you.  With summer here, we are going to taking a little break, but we couldn't just leave ya without something to do right?  So for the whole month of June the Summer Challenge #1 is to create a card with flowers as your focal point.  This month's sponsor is Sparkle Rubber Stamp Creations!!  The T-Team will bring you more on our awesome sponsor on Wednesday, so make sure to stop by the LC blog to see what's up for grabs.  For today, make sure to stop by the LC blog and see what the A-Team created to inspire you.

Here's my card, but unfortunately the flowers that were the focal point got squashed by that cutie, Silver.  (lol)  He's a bad little pup, but you can't really be too mad at him can you?  I surely can't!  hahaha!  It really was a lovely bouquet too...  I had a lot of fun making this.  The fun papers and the black contrasts gave that dp a really nice pop.  The white daisy flower border was a fun addition.  Kept this one a bit CAS. 

Now don't forget you have a whole month to play a long with us.  Plenty of time to choose your papers and images.  Just keep in mind that it must be a card and the main focus should be all about the flowers, unless you find an irresistably cute puppy in the middle of it all.  I don't think anyone would mind.  lol!  I had a bit of fun with the back of the card, using the same border die and the flip side of the dp to create this fun "signature".

FBW #200 - A very special Deconstructed Sketch

Hey everybody!!

As most of you know by now, Danni has decided that today will be the last day of challenges at Flutterby Wednesday.  I wanted to say Mahalo to Danni for being so kind by asking me to be a guest designer and then eventually a team member with this fantastic team of talented ladies who love all things with wings.  It's been such a wonderful experience and working with Danni has been awesome.  I won't be going far from her, she's one of my go-to daily blogs that I visit and we are FB buddies so she's not getting rid of me that easily.  lol..  So for our last Flutterby Challenge #200, we're going out on top with a bang and this amazing Deconstructed Sketch by Jen Shults.

I changed up my card because I was inspired to make two.  For the first card I didn't use a colored image.  Just papers, a chipboard piece and a sentiment.  It's my first Mother's Day card and I love how it turned out.  Hope you do too.  (Sorry I did post this earlier, but changed it up, the butterfly is different.)

The dp is from Heidi Grace and one of my new favorites!!  The butterfly is chipboard from K&Company and the sentiment is from AmyR Stamps, All About Mom.

For the second card I printed out Heartfelt Love Wryn from Tiddly Inks to make a Thank you card.  I used the same Heidi Grace dp & K&Company chipboard butterfly, just flipped it.  I hand wrote the words in the hearts. 

I'm planning to send this second card to Danni as a Thank you for letting me be a part of this really amazing team. 

 Wow, can't believe how fast it came, but it's been a total blast for me.  Thanks to Danni again and I wanted to also say Thank you to the DT for all their support, encouragement and inspirations.  Thank you ladies for your friendship and for making these past months so much fun.  I will definitely be seeing you all in blogland.  Alright, I really hope you get to play with us for the last sketch and challenge for Flutterby Wednesday.  And make sure to leave some love for the DT, they've been so amazing.

Just Fairy Fun

Hey everyone!


Just poppin' in to share a fun card I made using the reverse wonky rectangle Spellbinders and one of the new Wryns from Tiddly Inks.  Meet Wryn - Fairy Friends.  You can purchase her here along with a bunch of other Wryns that were just released last week for the Tiddly Inks 2 year anniversary in their shop located here. 

This set also comes with two butterflies and a snail.  I kept it pretty CAS.  The colors are Spring like and fun.  The toadstool was fun to color, I diamond glazed parts of it and how cool that it looks so shiny.  I also diamond glazed the shell on the snail, who is attempting to crawl up the side of the toadstool.  (lol)  I added a stick pin with a funky bead and stuck it into the double bow ribbon on the side.

Let's party with Wryn & Emmy

Hey everyone!
Popping in to share a card I just finished.  I couldn't wait to share it.  I'm planning something else for tomorrow.  :)

If you haven't been by the Tiddly Inks challenge blog today, you might not know that it's Christy's birthday and the DT is having a pretty awesome birthday party for her.  With lots of fun trivia and lots of beautiful birthday cards for her.  Be sure to head on over there and play along, looks like the celebration is going to be going all weekend long.  Pretty cool!

They are also having a birthday bash challenge which is to create a birthday/celebration themed card.  It's been a while since I played in a challenge and since I already had a printed image I decided to play along.

I colored up the BFFs, Wryn and Emmy in some party colors.  I had fun coloring Wryn with red hair and freckles.  A first for me, because I don't really know anyone that is a redhead and has freckles.  (hahaha)  But I wanted to try something new, and that's what this lovely craft is all about right?  Trying new things...  I also went very CAS using paper from The Simple Stories Happy day paper pad as an accent (Thanks Amy for inspiring me!!) and using up some of the printed words from the same paper pad.  The ribbon is one of my favorites and "tied" in wonderfully to create a fun looking wrapped gift.

FBW #194 - Send a Smile 4 Kids

Hey everyone!

I'm back for a short time!  I'm still recovering from the weekend and hope to be back and commenting soon.  In the meantime, I'm here to share my creations for this week's Flutterby Wednesday #194's challenge.  We are partnering with the ladies from Send a Smile 4 Kids and our theme  is to create a card for a child.  For more details on this week's challenge head on over to the FBW blog and Danni will give you all the details.  We hope that you will consider sending your card to the organization, it will definitely bring a smile to the child receiving it.  For the card guidelines please check out the SAS4K info here.  And it's still a FBW challenge so don't forget your butterfly, angel or fairy.

I created two items.  A card and a bookmark.  The card is featuring Silver Playtime and the bookmark is featuring a cute fruit set also from Tiddly Inks, possibly discontinued.  I kept both CAS and let the images be the focal points on the projects.

The berry special sentiment stamp was a great find in my $1 stamp stash.  The ribbon might look familiar, and it is, but I thought it tied all the fun colors on the fruit together nicely.

Won't you be my...Valentine?

Hi everyone!
Hope you are all having a terrific weekend.  I'm up to my ears in paper, markers, stamps and Spellbinders and I'm having a terrific time!   Still working on a few things for next week so hoping this post is pretty quick. 

Now I don't normally use animals in my cards, but I couldn't resist purchasing Silver Valentine from Tiddly Inks.  He's adorable, I mean how can you not want him, right?  hahaha.  He's also perfect for a sweet Valentine's day card.  Now I'm really not sure if Silver is a female or male, but for this card I thought being a male would be fine even if the card is mostly pink.  (lol)  This is my first time merging digital images too.  I used one of two free cute heart digis from Birdie Brown as a backdrop.  (Click here to get the free images)  I think it looks pretty cute especially when it looks like Silver is surrounded by hearts.

I used a pearl pen on the hearts and then using two Copic markers tried to make them look like pillows.  Not sure if it worked but that's what it's supposed to be.  I doodled around the edges and added fake stitches to the sentiment, main image and the heart.  Here's a close up.

I handwrote the sentiments.  Trying to keep it nice and clean.  I redid the sentiment heart 4 times before I was satisfied with this one.  CAS is definitely better than too much.  (lol)  I plan to make another card using this adorable little guy and use the other hearts from Birdie Brown.  Let's see how long it take to finish it.  (lol)

Lollipop Crafts #65

Hope you are all enjoying your Monday.  Today is the 2nd day of CHA, I hope to post some pictures soon of what we've been up to since Friday.  If you are attending CHA, please stop by the La-La Land Crafts booth #1780 and say hi!

This week's Lollipop Crafts challenge #65 is Anything Goes.  Woo Hoo!!  Everyone's favorite right?  Well at least it's my favorite.  :)  So for your project go crazy or go CAS.  Whatever you want to create make sure you link it up with us.  For some inspiration from both the A and T Teams head on over to the Lollipop Crafts blog.

Today I wanted to share my finished card featuring Wryn - Close to my Heart, from Tiddly Inks.  Now if you remember I posted a picture of her colored up (here) and was going to post when I finally put her on a card.  Well after much deliberation with layouts, papers, etc...  I finally finished and here it is.  Please be kind!! :)

So what do you think?  I really like how it turned out.  I know it's pretty busy, but I think she needed those big flowers and the black & white theme with the touch of red.  I couldn't really see her anywhere else.  LOL.  The card itself is black cs, the dp are from an old paper stack from Making Memories that I remember buying from Target.  The red is Stardream cs in Jupiter that I bought a few years ago from Kelly Paper Company.  On the left side of the card you can see a very familiar ribbon. Yes, it is actually one of my favorites and I did a fun little double bow. Dangling from the bow are two hearts. I drew in the pattern using Copics R46 and RV000, then I traced over it with a white gel pen (Sakura). The string is red embroidery floss.  Here's a close up of it:

I cut apart the sentiment and mounted each word on to the same red cs. It's my first time doing that, and I really like how fun it looks.
