Aloha Friday Challenge #44 - EASTER

Hello!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday challenge and we have a super fun and easy one.  For the next two weeks it's all about EASTER!!

EASTER
Create a project with an Easter theme
Sponsor: Dillybeans

For all the details on our amazing sponsor, Dillybeans, and the prize up for grabs head on over to the challenge blog HERE.  While you are there make sure to leave some love for each of my teammates.  We were lucky enough to receive a couple Dillybean images to play with thanks to our wonderful sponsor.  Thank you Megan!!  Here's my project featuring Aidynn's bunny frame:

A very CAS design for this sweet image.  Colored with Copics I used minimal colors.  For the background behind her I colored it in then using a multi-liner pen I hand wrote Easter.  Gives it sort of a graffiti backdrop.  Matted the images to a black piece of cardstock and I was done.  I had fun with my EK border punch to make the panels in white. They lined up perfectly vertically and horizontally.  Last to go on was the handwritten sentiment and it was done.

Looking forward to seeing all the cute Easter projects for this challenge.  Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy Aloha Friday and a great crafty weekend!!

Hugs,

Aloha Friday Challenge #28 - Favorite Color Combo

Happy Aloha Friday everyone!

You know what that means... A new and fun Aloha Friday Challenge with Kitty Bee Designs!!  Here's the challenge for the next two weeks:

Favorite color combo

We are sponsored by the awesome Megan K. Suarez aka:

Stop by the challenge blog to see the awesome projects from my teammates using either a Dilly Beans digi or a Kitty Bee Designs image.  We were lucky enough to receive a few images to play with.  I actually grabbed this one when it was a freebie and loved it right off the bat.  Here is Elly Framed and my color combo is anything with black or brown and in this case it was the colors of the rainbow...

I printed a panel of the same image and colored them up with Copic markers.  Afterwards I matted them to a black panel.  I found some really cool paper from a Colorbok stack which became the backdrop.  I normally don't color the eyes with red, but I've seen so many in blogland that I had to try it and ya know, I really love how it turned out.  Especially with the gradient of orange and yellow.  I tried to do that with the blue and greens but it doesn't stand out as much.  Still love how they all turned out. ^.^

I think I used a lot of markers I haven't used in a long time which was great, because some of them had dried up ink. Boo!!  I'll have to go through them all just to see which ones I need to refill.  I do not relish that task. hahaha! Anyhoos, we hope you'll join us for this super easy challenge.  Have a happy Aloha Friday and a great weekend!!  Mahalo for stopping by!!
