KBD Spotlight - March

Hi!!

Today is the first Monday and it's spotlight time for me over at the Kitty Bee Designs blog.  Here is the March calendar featuring Boy's Day Bear.

Bright and fun is what I was going for here.  That patterned paper was perfect for my idea and this came together fairly quickly.  I really don't have too much to say here except I hope you're all having a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!

KBD Spotlight - Boys Day Bear

Morning!

Today is the first Monday in June and that means I'm sharing this card featuring Boys Day Bear in my spotlight over on the Kitty Bee Designs blog.  Yep, I can't get enough of him. ^.^

I used the koi fish paper as my color inspiration.  Kept the card CAS with subtle Asian tones.  This is going in to my card stash to be used for just the right occasion.  As I left off a sentiment I can use it for anything.  Score!

Hope I inspired you to break out some bright colors or use pattern paper as your color inspiration and if you need an adorable image why not think about grabbing one or a few from the Kitty Bee Designs Etsy store? You're bound to find one that you love.

Before I sign off I wanted to share some KBD team news:

We're having a DT Call!!
For all the details click HERE.
You have until June 20th to apply.

And that's all for today.  Mahalo for stopping by!

KBD Spotlight - Red, White & Blue

Hello!
Happy Memorial Day everyone!  Hope you are all having a nice long weekend.  Today I'm popping in over at the Kitty Bee Designs blog to share this card I made in honor of Memorial Day featuring a cute Boys Day stamp from Kitty Bee Designs.

I thought it would be fun to use this image for an any occasion not just for Boys Day.  I went to my stash of scraps for this card and used an MFT chevron die to create this fun red, white & blue pattern.  After coloring up Boys Day Bear I fussy cut him and popped him up with 3-D foam tape.  I chose the simple sentiment to go with this and now it can be used for any occasion.  Hope I inspired you to break out your dies, scraps and create something cool & simple.

Wishing you all a blessed Memorial Day and to those who sacrifice daily for us and for others, Mahalo.
