Here's my card featuring Star Friends from Stitch Bear.

This image is super sweet.  It comes with that sentiment and I merged them together.  I used some softer colors here and lots of white.  After coloring with Copics I fun-cut them out and popped them on to a doily.  Adding the rest was super easy, mostly using a lot of my stash.  The stars were cut with a Little B nesting die.

Christmas Candles

Hello everyone!
Hoping you had a great weekend.  I was very productive and got a  bunch of cards done.  No where near done with my Christmas list, but I've gotten a good dent in it.  Yay!!

Today why don't you join us at Lollipop Crafts for our very last challenge of the year?  We are taking a holiday break (12/19 - 1/8/2012) to gear up for the New Year.  This week's challenge is #61 and the theme is Happy Holidays.  That's pretty easy, yea?  All you have to do is link up a new Holiday card or project for a chance to win.  Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps and our A-Team will be back on Thursday for our Sponsor Spotlight.  Be sure to head on over to the Lollipop Crafts blog to see all the wonderful Holiday inspirations from my team.  I'm sure you will get in to the Holiday spirit if you haven't already.  :)

For my card I decided to use the Christmas Candles by Floppy Latte Designs.  I used the traditional Christmas colors of greens, reds and a bit of sparkle.  The layout is pretty CAS, just the way I've been liking it recently, especially with Christmas cards.  I wanted to work on my light with the candles, but for some reason in the picture it looks brighter than the actual card, and that's without a flash on my camera.  hmmm...  haha!

I used Copics and Distress inks for the main image.  The papers are scrap dp, glitter paper is from Joann's; I used the same glitter paper for the border, just used the backside.  The green card is Neenah and one of my favorite colors.  I haven't chosen a sentiment for the inside yet, but I'm sure it will be something festive for the holidays.
