Don't you think the colors are totally summer? Definitely! Here's what I came up with:
When I saw the color story I wanted to do something summery because of the color scheme. I also wanted to use an image that I had never used. First off I picked the papers. I chose this awesome dp from K&Company (Eloise). The orange card(stock) is from Hanko Designs. Next was the image. If you don't recognize her, she is Disney's Princess Ariel, aka The Little Mermaid. Framed her out using an oval Nestie and added a border with Memento Potter's Clay.
How about a close up of the Princess herself?
I think out of all the Disney princesses I like her the most. :)
The image & sentiment are clear stamps from EKS. Next came the accessories. The orange flowers are from Recollections; I pulled off the green leaves and adhered them to the MS punched red flowers. The satin ribbon was tied into a simple knot and I added two small butterflies punched using a MS punch around the sentiment. In her hair is a flower and inside the flower is a pearl because she IS from the sea. :)
I will try to list the markers I used, but only if I remember to write them down. This is something I used to do and will now get into the habit again. Today, I remembered so here is a list of the Copic colors I used:
Skin: E02, 50, 51| Hair: E07,09 R05, 22| Eyes: B04| Flower & Top: YR02,04,09
I think I'm going to also enter this in my first Flutter By challenge (#153) which is open as long as there is a butterfly, fairy or angel included.
Ok my friends, have a wonderful Thursday and be back for my FFF challenge post for TGF-FFC blog.
Mahalo for your lovely comments and for stopping by!
Hugs,
Lilo
